Why this exists
Most scalp treatments fail in two ways : they over-deliver on harsh actives so the scalp ends up more reactive than it was, or they are basically shampoo with a different label. Korean haircare took a different view : treat the scalp like skin, exfoliate it gently the way a tonic exfoliates the face, hydrate the surface, and let the hair below come back lighter on its own. The Reset is built to that thinking. Eight ingredients total. Nothing else.

Apply on dry scalp
Before shampooing, part the hair in sections and massage three to five drops directly onto the scalp along each parting.

Let the serum sit for three to five minutes. Shampoo as usual after, condition mid-lengths only.

Formulation
Aqua leads the formula as the carrier. Lactic acid follows as the hero active, dosed at the gentle exfoliating concentration that performs evenly across all scalp types without over-stripping. Pentylene glycol and butylene glycol bring humectant draw and help the active spread evenly along the root zone. Potassium hydroxide neutralises the formula to its target pH for comfortable use at the scalp surface. Glycerin provides immediate surface humectancy.
Sodium hyaluronate delivers epidermal hydration, the step that keeps the scalp feeling cushioned rather than tight after the acid does its work. Is The Reset safe for sensitive scalps?
Yes. Lactic acid is the gentlest of the AHAs and the formula is fragrance free. Start with one use per week and patch test on the side of the scalp if you are very reactive.
How often should I use it?
One to two times per week is enough. The look of a steadily calmer, lighter-feeling scalp builds over the weeks, not in a single use.
Will it strip my colour?
When used as directed (three to five minutes on the scalp, then shampoo) the formula is designed to stay at the root zone and rinse cleanly. Avoid letting it sit on coloured lengths.
Can I use it on a dry, flaky scalp?
Yes. The lactic acid exfoliates the flakes gently and the sodium hyaluronate hydrates the surface so the scalp does not feel tight after.
Do I shampoo before or after?
After. Apply to dry scalp, let it sit for three to five minutes, then shampoo as usual and condition mid-lengths only.
