Why this exists
Gloss is a structural property of hair as much as a cosmetic one. When the cuticle lies flat, light reflects evenly and the hair reads as smooth and bright. Repeated use of harsher cleansers can roughen that surface over time, scattering light instead of reflecting it, and no conditioner fully undoes that pattern once it builds. This shampoo is designed to cleanse effectively while supporting the cuticle at the wash step itself. Betaine brings gentle conditioning through the lather, hydrolysed wheat protein helps temporarily smooth surface irregularities, and the pH-adjusted formula is intended to leave the hair feeling clean, settled, and visibly more reflective after rinsing.

Formulation
The cleansing base is anchored by Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice at the top of the INCI, replacing a conventional aqueous phase with an aloe-first carrier that immediately establishes a soothing, polysaccharide-rich environment for the actives that follow. Sodium Coco-Sulfate and Coco-Glucoside provide the primary surfactant action : effective foam, thorough rinse-through, and a sulphate profile mild enough to use several times per week without compromising colour or scalp balance. Glycerin and betaine sit mid-formula as conditioning humectants, the latter derived naturally from sugar beet and valued specifically for its compatibility with both scalp skin and hair fibre.
Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, positioned after the preservative system, works at the hair shaft surface : it fills micro-gaps in the cuticle temporarily, reducing light scattering and improving the smoothness and gloss of each individual strand. Brassicyl Isoleucinate Esylate provides additional gentle conditioning that persists through the rinse without the residue associated with silicone-based conditioning agents. The fragrance is composed of natural patchouli leaf oil, virginian cedar, and limonene, producing the smoky, green complexity that defines this product's sensory character.
