Formulation
Kaolin (white clay) is the primary adsorptive material : fine-particled, it absorbs sebum and surface impurities without the intense oil-stripping that fuller's earth or bentonite can produce. Montmorillonite (green clay) contributes a deeper adsorptive capacity alongside trace minerals that exchange with the skin surface during the treatment period. Together they create a graduated cleansing action appropriate for all skin types, including those with a compromised barrier.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, organically sourced, replaces water as the liquid base, immediately introducing soothing and anti-inflammatory activity into the formula from the first ingredient. Lactic Acid at a controlled level adds mild keratolytic activity within the mask, gently loosening the surface desquamation that contributes to pore appearance. Sodium Levulinate and Glyceryl Caprylate function as microbiome-friendly preservatives.
Black Tea Leaf Extract (organically sourced) delivers antioxidant support during the treatment. Organic Cucumber Fruit Extract contributes calming and cooling activity. Organic Sage Leaf Extract brings purifying properties to the surface, supporting the clay's antimicrobial environment.
