Reading your dossier
What arrives after the reading, how to read it, and when to return for a fresh one.
At the end of your Skin Reading, your personalised OVESSI dossier opens in a new tab and a copy is emailed to your inbox. It is a quiet document, written in OVESSI voice, that gathers the reading into one place you can return to.
What the dossier contains
Your dossier opens with the five visible cues your face showed during the scan, in plain language: tone, texture, dryness, redness and pore appearance. Below that, the focus your skin is asking for now, named in one short line. Then your matched ritual, one of the five core OVESSI rituals, with each of the four layers in order and a sentence explaining why this step belongs in your build. Finally, the active ingredients your skin will respond to, drawn from the twenty-five OVESSI actives, with the products in your ritual that carry them.
How to read it
Read the cues first, then the focus, then the layers. The order matters. The cues tell you what the camera saw, the focus tells you what to address first, and the layers tell you how to address it. The reading is a starting point, not a prescription. If a step does not suit your life, lift it out of the build. Your dossier updates with you.
How long the reading stays useful
The reading is most accurate for around three months. After that, season, travel, stress and habit will have nudged your skin somewhere new, and a fresh reading is the considered move. There is no penalty for returning. Take the reading whenever your skin asks for it.
Keeping your dossier
The dossier opens in a new tab the moment your reading completes. If you provide an email at the end of the reading, a copy lands in your inbox shortly after and the address of the PDF is held against your profile in our email platform so you can request it again later.
