The base is Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, organically sourced, which governs the formula's hydration, calming, and skin-compatible characteristics from the first position in the INCI. Jojoba Seed Oil, also organically sourced, forms the primary lipid phase: a wax-ester oil whose composition mirrors the skin's own sebum and which is among the most consistently well-tolerated topical oils for sensitised and reactive skin types. Coco-Caprylate and Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride provide additional emollient function with a clean, non-greasy skin feel.
Sodium PCA restores the skin's Natural Moisturising Factor, which is commonly depleted in sensitive and reactive skin types that have been over-cleansed or exposed to environmental stressors. Hydrolyzed Rhodophyceae Extract, derived from red algae, contributes a film-forming polysaccharide action that reduces transepidermal water loss and supports barrier function. Sodium Hyaluronate and Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid provide surface and deeper hydration at two molecular weights. Irvingia Gabonensis Kernel Butter adds a final layer of emollient richness that is absorbed without heaviness, contributing to the comfortable, non-greasy finish the formula requires for daily use.
