Why do I need a separate eye formula and not just my moisturiser?
Eye formulas are calibrated for thinner, more sensitive skin and avoid actives that can cause milia or sensitivity in the orbital zone. Face moisturisers are often too heavy or too active for the eye area. A dedicated eye product is a small step that makes a precise difference.
Does eye cream help with dark circles as well as puffiness?
It depends on the cause. Caffeine-rich formulas address vascular dark circles and puffiness caused by fluid retention. Peptide formulas address the thin, hollow appearance that reads as shadow. Pigment-based dark circles respond better to brightening actives in combination with the above.
When in the ritual do I apply eye cream?
After toner and before face serum, or after serum and before moisturiser, depending on the weight of the formula. Lighter eye gels go before serum. Cushion creams go last. The rule is that nothing heavier goes on top of the eye product after application.
Can I use eye cream under the brow bone as well?
