Formulation
The base begins with sunflower seed oil, organically sourced, as the primary emollient : a lightweight yet nourishing carrier that delivers lipids without congesting the surface. Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride and Dicaprylyl Carbonate contribute the cream's gliding, non-tacky texture, ensuring the formula spreads evenly over large body areas without effort.
Hydroxyethyl Urea provides the 5% urea activity. Unlike crystalline urea, the hydroxyethyl derivative is gentler in feel and more stable in formulation, while preserving the full keratolytic and humectant action. Panthenol sits at a 2% working level, supporting the skin's natural repair mechanisms and contributing a noticeable softening effect visible within the first week of consistent use.
Sodium PCA, an amino acid derivative that the skin produces naturally as part of its moisture-regulating factor, reinforces the hydration layer. Sodium Hyaluronate, positioned near the end of the INCI, works at the surface to smooth and bind atmospheric moisture. Bergamot, bitter orange, and ylang ylang provide a warm, clean citrus-floral scent. The texture is dense enough to feel substantive on rough elbows and shins, yet it distributes and absorbs with a single stroke, leaving skin comfortable and non-greasy.
