Oily and combination skin is often under-hydrated rather than over-moisturised, yet many day creams try to solve that by simply feeling lighter and offering less. That can leave the skin asking for more water while still producing excess oil in response. This formula takes the opposite approach : it gives proper hydration through aloe leaf juice, glycerin, betaine, and multi-molecular hyaluronic acid, then uses a measured amount of organic argan oil as a skin-compatible emollient rather than a heavy occlusive. Bisabolol helps keep the surface settled, while burdock root and oak bark extracts support a clearer, more balanced-looking finish. Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, organically sourced, follows in the second position : at this level it provides its characteristic oleic and linoleic fatty acid emollient profile, with tocopherols that contribute antioxidant stability and a skin-conditioning quality that distinctly differs from heavier oils.
Glycerin and Betaine provide the primary humectant layer. Pentylene Glycol and Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride contribute texture and spreadability. The emulsion structure uses Polyglyceryl-6 Stearate and Polyglyceryl-6 Behenate, both plant-derived emulsifiers that create a stable, clean-feeling cream texture.
Bisabolol, derived from chamomile, is included at a functional level : it softens, calms, and reduces the appearance of surface redness, making it particularly valuable for combination skin types that experience reactive flushing. Carum Petroselinum (Parsley) Extract, organically sourced, provides chlorophyll and vitamin-C-adjacent antioxidant support. Quercus Robur (Oak) Bark Extract, organically sourced, contributes astringent tannins that support pore appearance and surface tightness. Arctium Lappa (Burdock) Root Extract, organically sourced, is a well-established sebum-regulating botanical included at a meaningful level.
