Why this exists
There is a meaningful difference between hair that looks smooth and hair that is smooth. Many conditioners focus on immediate slip alone, but this formulation is built to address the structural causes of dullness and roughness at the same time. Avocado oil helps replenish lipids that washing and environmental exposure gradually remove, while wheat protein temporarily supports the cuticle surface so light reflects more evenly. The emulsion is built around Cetearyl Alcohol and Behentrimonium Chloride, a combination that provides the smooth, detangling base while maintaining a degree of lightweight deposit that does not sit heavily on fine strands. Betaine and glycerin contribute surface conditioning and moisture retention during the period the product remains on the hair. Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) penetrates the cortex, increasing the hair fibre's capacity to hold water, which translates directly into reduced brittleness and improved bend-without-break behaviour at the ends.
Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, organically sourced, is positioned mid-formula, reflecting a meaningful concentration rather than a trace addition. Avocado oil has a fatty acid profile dominated by oleic acid, which is highly compatible with the natural lipids of the hair's medulla and cortex; it conditions from within rather than coating from outside. Tocopherol (vitamin E) provides antioxidant support, protecting the lipid content of the formula and the hair from oxidative degradation between washes. The fragrance is composed from patchouli leaf oil, virginian cedarwood, and limonene, producing the distinctive smoky, green-vetiver character. Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein completes the formulation, binding to sites of cortical and cuticle damage to temporarily reinforce the structural integrity of the hair shaft.
