Will blemish-targeting actives dry my skin out?
Not when used as formulated. OVESSI blemish formulas balance salicylic acid and niacinamide with humectants so the surface stays hydrated while the pore clears. Stripping is the approach we have moved away from entirely.
How do I handle active blemishes alongside post-blemish marks?
Use the BHA cleanser or targeted serum on active congestion, then follow with a niacinamide layer for the marks. The two concerns sit at different depths and respond to different actives, but both can be addressed in the same layered ritual.
Can I wear makeup over blemish-care formulas?
Yes. Apply the treatment serum and moisturiser as usual, allow two minutes for absorption, then apply makeup as normal. A mineral SPF over the top completes the morning sequence without adding pore-clogging texture.
How long before post-blemish marks fade?
