Why this exists
Hydrating serums are often reduced to a single job : adding hyaluronic acid to a water base. This formula takes a broader view of what skin needs at the treatment step. Organic aloe leaf juice and organic rose flower water form the liquid foundation, so comfort and moisturisation are built into the base before the actives arrive. From there, cloudberry extract brings nutritive support, bisabolol adds calming softness, and Alteromonas ferment offers a marine active focused on surface smoothness. Hydrolysed hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate work together across different depths and at the surface, helping skin hold onto water and look more settled. The base begins with Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, organically sourced, delivering aloe's amino-acid-rich soothing activity from the opening. Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Water, organically sourced, follows : not as a fragrance but as a bioactive toner-type ingredient rich in naturally occurring phenylethanol and flavonoids. Jojoba Seed Oil, organically sourced, provides the formula's lipid-phase component, giving it a satin slip that distinguishes it from a plain gel serum.
Glycerin, Betaine, and Pentylene Glycol form the humectant foundation. Bisabolol, derived from chamomile, is included at a level where it provides genuine calming and softening to the surface : not a token inclusion. Paeonia Lactiflora (Peony) Root Extract provides additional phytochemical calming and conditioning. Rubus Chamaemorus (Cloudberry) Fruit Extract, organically sourced, contributes its exceptional antioxidant and vitamin-E-adjacent plant sterol content to the formula's nutritive profile.
Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid penetrates into the upper stratum corneum for structural-level plumping. Sodium Hyaluronate operates at the surface for immediate hydration and smoothness. Alteromonas Ferment Extract and Glycolipids complete the active layer with marine-derived support for the skin's surface architecture. CI 77491 (Iron Oxides, pure mineral pigments) provide a subtle warm, healthy cast to the serum's finish without any visible colour on skin.
