Why this exists
The under-eye area is thinner, less sebaceous, and more prone to visible fluid retention than the rest of the face, so it often shows both puffiness and dehydration first. A standard face moisturiser can feel too heavy here, sitting on the contour rather than sitting well within it. This formula is built with a lighter emollient profile, so it can be applied comfortably right up to the orbital bone. Horse chestnut seed extract and ginkgo biloba leaf extract bring the botanical support used here for the look of under-eye fatigue, while multi-molecular hyaluronic acid addresses surface dryness that can make fine lines appear more pronounced. The base opens with Aqua and organic Sunflower Seed Oil, providing a balanced emollient foundation that is lighter than a standard face cream. Glycerin and Betaine deliver humectant hydration. Cetearyl Alcohol, Isoamyl Laurate, Arachidyl Alcohol, Behenyl Alcohol, and Arachidyl Glucoside form the emulsion structure that keeps the formula smooth and stable without heaviness.
Shea Butter, organically sourced, provides emollient depth : at the concentration it appears in this INCI, it softens and smooths without any heaviness or occlusion at the eye contour. Rice Bran Oil, Rice Bran Wax, Sunflower Seed Wax, and Rhus Succedanea Fruit Wax contribute a light, film-forming lipid layer that helps the delicate skin retain the moisture delivered by the humectants.
Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Leaf Extract, organically sourced, provides flavonoid-rich antioxidant and venotonic activity from the surface. Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed Extract, organically sourced, contributes its characteristic anti-oedema and vascular-support action. Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract provides broad antioxidant and microcirculatory phytochemical support. Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid and Sodium Hyaluronate address dehydration at two depths, with the hydrolysed form penetrating slightly deeper into the upper corneum and the sodium salt working at the surface.
The texture is a rich but fine cream : it applies smoothly, absorbs without pulling on the delicate skin, and leaves no residue.
