Formulation
The base is a water-alcohol gel structured by Cellulose Gum and Algin, a polysaccharide derived from brown algae that creates a smooth, film-forming texture without stickiness. Niacinamide leads the active layer, at 5% : a well-established working level that is effective without the risk of irritation associated with higher concentrations.
Glycerin provides the primary humectant hydration. The gel base disperses it evenly across the skin surface, where it binds atmospheric moisture and contributes to the comfortable, non-dry feeling that distinguishes a properly formulated gel from a stripping one.
Ginkgo Biloba (Ginkgo) Leaf Extract, organically sourced, provides flavonoid-rich and terpenoid-rich antioxidant activity that complements the barrier-support function of niacinamide. Together, they address both the moisture-retention and the environmental-protection aspects of surface skin health. Sodium Phytate acts as a chelating agent, Potassium Hydroxide adjusts pH to the optimal range for niacinamide stability, and Citric Acid supports the preservation system.
