Will argan oil break me out?
Argan oil has a low comedogenic rating and is well tolerated by most skin types, including combination skin. Its linoleic acid content makes it less likely to contribute to congestion than heavier, oleic-dominant oils. On very acne-prone skin, apply to damp skin and use only a small amount.
How do I use argan oil in my skincare ritual?
Argan oil is best applied as the final skincare step before SPF in the morning or as the seal step at night, pressed into the skin over a serum or moisturiser. One to two drops is sufficient for the face. It can be mixed into a moisturiser but performs best applied separately.
Does argan oil benefit hair as well as skin?
Yes. Applied to damp or dry lengths, argan oil smooths the cuticle, reduces frizz, and adds a natural sheen without buildup. It is lightweight enough not to weigh down fine hair when used in small amounts. OVESSI hair oils use argan as the primary emollient for this reason.
